The GigaMux 6200 is our high performance carrier-class Layer 2 Ethernet traffic aggregation and management switch designed for next generation of Carrier and ISP Metro networks, Data Centre and Enterprise networking requirements. It has comprehensive protocol support and has applications to facilitate the rapid service deployment and management for Enterprise and Carrier L2/L3 networks.

With its built-in fibre capabilities, it is an ideal way to aggregate incoming Ethernet leased line traffic flowing from FTTP customers within a metro network using either multiple fibres or Sorrento Networks’ DWDM multi-service virtual fibre access networks.
