Sorrento Networks GigaMux 3100 series provides simplified DWDM cost effectively with a1U chassis and Eight fixed DWDM channels.
Each wavelength colour can either carry a different service type, or simply be used to multiply the traffic carrying capacity of the fibre.
GigaMux 3100 is a transponder based solution with up to eight data services that can operate on a single fibre connection. It is designed especially for situations where source and destination client equipment is not equipped with WDM optical interfaces.
GigaMux 3100 has simplified traffic demarcation and management features and its wavelengths are fixed, but due to its compactness and simplified nature it is a very competitive entry level DWDM solution.
